A Martha Stewart bedroom using Faux Bamboo
While our tastes usually run primitive or early 20th century, we saw some
Aesthetic Movement faux bamboo pieces at a recent auction and were quite taken with the look- although the details looked to be delicate bamboo, these honey-colored pieces were solid hardwood and in impeccable condition. Elegant and sturdy, we've thought about them since and featured similar here with a gorgeous book recently sold at Cowan's-
Customs and Costumes of the Chinese by Grohmann.
