A walk through the Lower East Side last weekend had us snapping photos of storefronts and graphics, aging ephemera and graffiti- it was a glimpse of the grittier, old New York that we fell in love so many years ago. That said, we happened upon an eraseable board in the middle of the sidewalk advertising reupholstering services- the gorgeous, uneasy line put a smile on our face and a blog in our heads.
