On a community garden tour on Saturday, our last stop was the mountain top estate of a European couple who had made New England their home for the last eleven years. The views and garden were amazing, but when we took a wrong turn and ended up walking through their fairly untouched forest, we were astounded by the amazing variety of mushrooms! When we got back, our host said "Well, I'm sorry but there is nothing to see in there"so we smiled, said how lovely his gardens were and left knowing, as always, the most miraculous sights are not cultivated, but natural...
