We purchased this framed crewel embroidery fragment a few months back. An elegant Spring landscape of sinewy vines and exotic florals, it is in tough shape. We love the soiling and elegant frays of its golden linen and the bright salmon, blues and berries of the wool. If we won it because of it's tattered condition, we admire it for that very reason.
