Eclectic Studio

We're currently designing a studio apartment for a client in NYC. As you can imagine, space is tight, but we think it can be a gem. Here are some ideas we're playing with...

1. Venetian mirror for the entranceway
2. Antique scatter rug for the living area
3. 19th century Empire secretary for desktop and shelving
4. Hazel settee from Jayson Home & Garden (a full size couch is too tight)
5. Early blanket chest for coffee table
6. Additional scatter rug for the living area
7. 1902's industrial dresser

The East Village & Wesley Anderegg

While waiting for an appointment in the East Village yesterday, we were captivated by a sliver of pipes and facade that had escaped renovation. The gatoring paint in countless generations created a staggering surface that reminded us of a Twombly painting, old painted furniture that we hold so dear and, of course, Wesley Anderegg's work.
