We found
David Lenz's work in an old issue of
American Art Review last night. We were struck by the beauty of
Dairyland (below), and had to look twice before realizing it's an oil on linen. Lenz's hyperrealistic portraits capture the emotion and spirit of what's typically burned on film, but the medium seems to make the moment that much more special...
