Subjective Aesthetics

Aesthetic Movement Hall Lantern at Rago
We were pleasantly surprised by The Telegraph's article about 20th and 21st century design experts Peter and Charlotte Fiell's home. We always feel slightly hypocritical (we're not sure why) buying and selling modernist, deco and post modern design- while we love and appreciate it, we have a tendency to live with our earlier finds. Turns out, even the most esteemed experts obey the same leanings:

The Circus
While researching Maurice Prendergast we stumbled upon the work of his younger brotherCharles. His child-like vision is stunning, capturing the beauty and innocence of a childhood dream.
