Sitting Pretty

We've recently been asked for our thoughts on where to find a beautiful, modern dressing table. Not having any immediate ideas, we started our research and found some amazing deco & mid-century references. Our favorites look so modern that we couldn't resist taking a peak back at what "modern" was then...

Through the Rabbit Hole

We loved the Angora Rabbits at this weekend's Hartland Farm Fest... the festival was like tumbling into an alternative universe for us, with livestock and organic goods and lovely people living in a place of awareness and sustainability.

Organic Modernism

We have new clients in Frank Gehry's financial district tower, New York by Gehry. The asked us to create a warm, cozy space that compliments the modern, bold architecture of the building. We were immediately inspired by the organic modernism of the curving steel facade--the soft movement of a grand gesture. And their Persian heritage of art, design and architecture. Here are some early picks that play into the theme...

Masterclass

When Will Fisher, founder of Jamb,  auctioned off his personal collection of antiques from his 18h century townhouse, it was a masterclass for those interested in decorating and collecting. Mr. Fisher has an unbelievably refined aesthetic that teaches us all how to curate with balance, beauty an quality in mind.
